After leaving the Daintree Discovery Centre, we will board the vehicular ferry to cross the Daintree River and head for the southern extreme of the Daintree National Park the beautiful, iconic Mossman Gorge. En route, we will pass through the Mossman Gorge Aboriginal Community - home to the Kuku Yalanji tribal people. At the Gorge, you will access a rainforest track for a leisurely walk to the granite boulder-strewn Mossman River. Here, you will find countless photo opportunities for your holiday memoirs, including a majestic strangler fig tree, curious bush turkeys, and perhaps even the elusive Boyd's Forest Dragon. Be sure to read the warning signs about the endemic Stinging Tree, or "Gympie Gympie"!
