Sunshine Coast and Hinterland Day Tours

1. Eumundi, Noosa National Park and Coast Drive Day Tour
After travelling to the village of Eumundi (one and a half hours drive north of Brisbane) and strolling through the craft markets (Sat & Wed only), our day tour heads to Noosa National Park for a short bushwalk with time for a swim. Walking to the headland, we may see koalas, plenty of birds, dolphins and between June and October do some whale watching. After a stroll along Hastings Street enjoying a gelato or coffee, we head back to Brisbane via the scenic Coast Road and Mooloolaba. Alternatively the return trip can be via the hinterland villages of Montville and enjoy spectacular views of the Glasshouse Mountains. This Day Tour is available without the Eumundi Markets option on all other weekdays.
(Eumundi Markets only available Wed and Sat mornings).

2. Underwater World and Australia Zoo Day Tour
This Day Tour travels to beautiful Mooloolaba with time for a swim at the beach and morning tea along the waterfront before heading to Underwater World. (Entry to Underwater World and Australia Zoo is at own expense). This is the largest oceanarium in Queensland where you can enjoy the seal show, touch & feel coral lagoon and walk through the 80m underwater tunnel. After lunch, our ecotour heads south to spend the afternoon at Australia Zoo with its various animal encounters from cuddling a koala to walking with a tiger. Alternatively, we can alter the itinerary to include just one of these venues allowing more time for interaction with the displays and animals and include other options such as swimming on the beaches or a visit to the Glasshouse Mountains.

3.Yandina and Montville Day Tour
Our first stop on this full day ecotour is at Mooloolaba Beach for a stroll along the beach and esplanade before continuing along the coastal road to Coolum Beach where we stop for morning tea. We travel west to the village of Yandina to visit the Ginger and Macadamia Factories.(Entry is free but any tours are at own expense). Enjoy the beautiful gardens and try the local produce. Taste the world’s best ice cream – our treat. We return to Brisbane via the Blackall Range and stop to stroll through the village of Montville wtth its famous art & craft galleries or a local winery. We also stop at spectacular lookouts for amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Remember this itinerary is a suggestion only and you can change the itinerary if desired to suit your interests – with more or less time at various stops and including other options such as a fully guided rainforest walk or a visit to Maleny Botanic Gardens with its walk in aviary.
